ROME
Todde Bus was founded in Rome in 1956, and most of our services still start from Rome every day: school trips, employee shuttles, transfers from Fiumicino and Civitavecchia, tour coaches for groups and tour operators, and pilgrimages. We organise them from our base in Via Ugo Forti, with a fleet of over 100 vehicles that we own and drivers who know the city.
Rome is a hard city to cross with a group. Distances are often short, but along the way there are ZTLs (Zona a Traffico Limitato, the restricted traffic zones) with different hours, historic centre streets where a 56-seat coach cannot go, roadworks, and major events that close entire neighbourhoods. That is why you need a driver who knows where to stop, when to leave earlier and which route to take if the main one is blocked.
Millions of kilometres on the road have strengthened our experience in this sector.
From coaches to shuttles, a modern and varied fleet ready for all your transport needs.
We contribute to a cleaner environment and a sustainable future for the city and the people who live in it.
TOUR COACHES IN ROME
Tour coach access to central Rome is regulated by Roma Capitale through three dedicated ZTLs (restricted traffic zones), paid permits and designated areas for passenger pick-up and drop-off.
We tell you which permit your programme needs and include it in the quote.
We use the designated tour coach parking areas close to the places you visit.
Where a Gran Turismo coach cannot go, we suggest a minibus, which handles narrow streets more easily.
Timings are based on the real traffic of the day, not on what the map says.
To enter the tour coach ZTL in Rome you need a daily permit, and coaches may only park in the designated areas.
