Exhibitors who need to take their staff to the fair every morning, companies accompanying client delegations, design schools with groups of students, agencies handling buyers from abroad: they all look for vehicles on the same days and at the same times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2027 Salone, what matters most is how the transport is set up and when you start organising it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 65th edition runs from 13 to 18 April 2027 at Fiera Milano Rho, and marks the return of Euroluce, the biennial lighting exhibition. Access days vary by type of visitor, and this has a direct effect on transport:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Visitor hours are 09:30 to 18:30; exhibitors have access from 08:30 to 19:00. These details are the ones published by Salone del Mobile.Milano for the 2027 edition: before confirming your group’s programme always check the official website, because details and times may be updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The weekend of 17-18 April is when the general public attends: the roads around the fair and the car parks are busier. A group of students coming on Friday 16 finds different conditions from one coming on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For an exhibiting company the typical service is a daily shuttle from the hotels to the fair, from the first day to the last. Staff need to be on the stand before the doors open to visitors, so the morning runs are timed on exhibitor hours, not on 09:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fiera Milano Rho is about 20 km from the Duomo, and on a fair day the journey takes 40-60 minutes. If 40 people need to be on the stand at 08:45, the coach leaves the hotel in the centre at around 07:45, not 08:15. In the afternoon the return runs are staggered: one at closing time and one later for those staying on to dismantle or meet clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For events with more than 100 people we prepare a logistics plan with pick-up points, times, coordinated vehicles and an operations contact who can be reached during the day. For the Salone we run repeated trips throughout the day, rather than a single return journey. To get to Fiera Milano Rho by coach<\/a> with a group you need to know the entrances, access routes and drop-off points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many companies invite clients and dealers from abroad and take them to the fair and to evening events. The service often starts at the airport: Malpensa is about 50 km from Milan, and at the wrong times the journey into the city can take up to an hour and a half. With arrivals on several flights, for a group transfer from the airports<\/a> we decide together whether to wait for everyone or run several trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On request we provide an English-speaking driver. For small delegations of 8 to 20 people, a minibus<\/a> or a van is more practical than a coach, both outside the hotels in the centre and at the fair entrances. For agencies and DMCs handling several groups in the same week we offer a dedicated service of coaches with driver for tour operators<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the same week Milan fills up with Fuorisalone events, the design events held outside the fair, spread across several districts of the city. For a group moving between presentations and dinners in the evening, the coach has a limit: in the historic centre tour buses follow precise access and parking rules, linked to coach parking, Area B and Area C<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For these journeys 16-27 seat minibuses or vans work better, with a programme of stops set in advance. If the group changes its plans on the way, small changes are handled with the driver; hours beyond those planned have an hourly rate set in the quote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the Salone del Mobile we recommend booking at least 2-3 months ahead: for the 2027 edition this means sending your request by February.
